Hi, I’m Rob Hughes and I’ve been building and remodeling homes in Albuquerque since 1982.

I established RMH General Contractor in 1986 to provide carpentry services to homeowners and general contractors. RMH has since evolved into a full service remodeling and homebuilding company.

I’ve been a  member of the HomeBuilders Association of Central New Mexico since 1995 and I’ve been honored to serve as Chair of both the Remodelers Council and the Home Builders Care Committee. I’m currently Vice President of the HomeBuilders Association and the proud recipient of the HBA's 2010 Builder Rising Star award. My projects have won several Excellence in Remodeling awards and have been featured in Su Casa Magazine.

I believe in the power of continuing education and have earned the following designations from the National Association of Home Builders, University of Housing: Certified Graduate Remodeler, Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging in Place Specialist.

Additionally, I’m an EPA Certified Lead Renovator and my company is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm.
